KINJOYA EPI Install Guide

  • Base surface treatment: After the primer is completely cured, the base surface is polished, the floating dust, particles and raised parts on the surface are removed, and after cleaning, the flatness of the base surface is checked, and the existing potholes and cracks are repaired.

  • Material preparation: Stir the main agent of the middle coating evenly, add the curing agent according to the specified ratio, stir thoroughly, and then add an appropriate amount of quartz sand or quartz powder and other auxiliary materials according to the construction requirements, and continue to stir evenly.

  • Coating construction: use batch scraping, roller coating or spraying for construction, if quartz sand is added, it can be coated into a flat and dense layer of a certain thickness with trowels; If the patch is carried out, follow the order of scraping the coarse quartz mortar first, and then scraping the fine quartz mortar, and it needs to be polished and flattened after scraping and patching.

  • Curing and polishing: After the middle coating construction is completed, wait for it to be completely cured (usually 4-8 hours), polish the surface to remove the batch marks and particles, and clean it up, and then the top coating can be carried out.
