KIN NANOLIA MIDCOAT
SiO₂ Aerogel Waterborne Thick Paste Coating

KIN Nanolia Midcoat is a waterborne, thick-coating paste that uses SiO₂ aerogel as the core insulation material, combined with high-performance resin/inorganic binders. It forms a dense nano-insulation layer, achieving efficient thermal insulation through the triple mechanisms of reflection, radiation, and barrier.

KIN Nanolia Midcoat Application

  • Building: exterior/interior walls, roofs, basements, energy-saving renovation.

  • Industrial: medium/low temperature storage tanks, pipelines, equipment, valves, flanges.

  • Transportation: refrigerated trucks, cold chain container insulation.

KIN Nanolia Midcoat Key Benefits

  • High-efficiency thermal insulation: λ≤0.044 W/(m·K); 1-3mm dry film ≈ 30-40mm traditional insulation.

  • Lightweight and space-saving: 1-1.5mm per coat, low self-weight, no fall risk.

  • Application-friendly: spraying/troweling/screeding, thick coat without cracking.

  • Safe & eco-friendly: waterborne, VOC-free, Class A fire rating, hydrophobic.

  • Durable & crack-resistant: high bond strength, aging resistance, seamless, no thermal bridges.

KIN Nanolia Midcoat Install Guide

• Substrate preparation: smooth, solid, clean, dry; metal needs rust removal/anti-corrosion.

• Stir slowly with mechanical mixer. Dilute with ≤5% clean water if needed. Do not mix at high speed.

• Apply by spraying/troweling/screeding in 2-3 coats. Single coat wet film ≤2-3 mm.

• Interval: allow surface dry (approx. 2-4h at 25°C) before next coat.

• Cure naturally for ≥7 days, avoid water and impact.

KIN Nanolia Midcoat Storage

  • Store sealed in a cool, dry place at 5-35°C. Shelf life unopened: 12 months from manufacture.

  • All information is nominal values at the time of manufacturing, and related performance properties are based on the "as manufactured" condition. Actual values may vary depending on application methods, substrate conditions, environmental factors, and specific product configurations.
